The white flag lap; that is when the melee ensued. Before Tony Stewart made a rare blunder heading into the carousel and then colliding with Clint Bowyer forcing the race-ending caution, Boris Said sent David Ragan and David Reutimann for a wild ride. Reutimann and Ragan were clearly shaken up. They both encountered hard hits.
Meanwhile, instead of worrying about the carnage he cause, Said was headed straight to the hauler of the No. 16 Ford driven by Greg Biffle. Apparently, Said wanted to have a meeting with Biffle over some flipped birds during the race.
Biffle walked over to Said's window and allegedly threw a couple of punches threw the window net. Said, mind you, never took off his helmet, but was ready to rumble.
Crewmembers of the No. 16 never kept Said from going after Biffle, but Said's mouth was flying as fast as his fists would have.
"He is the most unprofessional little scaredy cat I've ever seen in my life. He wouldn't even fight me like a man after (I got out the car). So if someone texts me his address, I'll go see him Wednesday at his house and show him what he really needs (a whipping)."
Said also said that Biffle will show up to the track with a 'black eye' one of these days.
Biffle responded on Tuesday and explained his side of the story.
"One, he wrecked me there (Watkins Glen) last year. (He) never called me, never said anything about it. Number two, he ran me off in the carousel. That's what ticked me off...Then he goes and hits the 6 car off the track. And then after the race, not concerned about the safety of those guys (David Ragan and David Reutimann), he drives to my truck like he had a problem. I didn't act properly there."
Now, I can understand Biffle's beef. He made a good point via phone to ESPN Monday evening when he said Boris is in his own world. That seems to be the case. Said is an interesting character, and I enjoy watching his interviews and if he is in solid equipment, he is fun to watch on the track. With that said, he does seem to be display additional aggression when he races. Several drivers have complained about him over the years, most notably Tony Stewart. In fact, Stewart dumped him last year at Watkins Glen after Said nearly ran him off the track.
With that said, Biffle should have at least allowed Said the opportunity to get out of the car before throwing any punches. Of course, in the heat of the moment of boiling anger, he probably did not even think about the repercussions.
Biffle mentioned that he and Said spoke on the phone to clear the air.
"He understands and apologized for running me off in the carousel. He didn't know he did. That was probably the whole thing that led to him coming up to my truck because he didn't understand why I was so mad at him."
So, it looks as if Biffle will not show up at Michigan with a black eye.
If I were Biffle, though, I would have called his bluff. Said made a lot of threats after the race, and in my experience, the more someone talks about kicking your tail, the less likely it is to happen. I would have texted him my address myself just to see if he would show up. If he did, 'boys have at it'.

Biffle seems to always talk that he is going to get someone but doesn't get near them unless they're strapped in their car. Having seen Boris before I don't think Biffle would want to get in his face up close. Biffle seems to have the little guy complex (talk big but run).
Said was serious about wanting to fight? If anyone was scared it was Said because the big sissy kept his helmet on. His performance on the track was a bunch better than his performance off the track. WOW, I'm going to go to his house two days from now and black his eye, WOW! Goodness knows that would scare me to death!
Mrclause, coudn't agree more. I used to enjoy Boris, but he just showed us his true self, and I'll never root for him again. Maybe we should send the other "bully", cousin carl, after him. I would pay big bucks to watch that!!
Boris is no more than talk!Don't get me wrong,he is a great roadracer,BUT he is typical California in his manner! All Talk,no action....Keeping your helmet on???? Jeff Gordon like isn't it??
The only video I saw was in the garage where the Biff was running and hiding behind a large group of much taller and larger mechanics, sort of a herd of mechanics. He at first appeared to be having some trouble scrambling but he couldn't help it, his dress and high heels were really holding him back.
Last time I saw Gordon fired up he didn't have his helmet on and went after a shocked Jeff Burton, only reason it was on with Kenseth is cause he just jumped out of the car, Kenseth was shocked also...
I have no doubt Said would have backed up what he wanted to do to biffle, biffle hitting Said while he was still strapped into his car, whimp move there, then he did hide behind all his crew members once Boris was out of the car pissed off going after him, helmet aside, Boris is a big boy, and he'd have no problem putting a whoopin on the biff...
funny how all these tough guys only go after the smaller guys, punks like harvick, spencer, childress and now mouth full of crooked teeth no driving said one of these days they gonna get suprised
Hate to burst your bubble on Harvick, but he's a little guy...
He can't be over 5'9 180 (thats being way generous) I'm not sure what constitutes a big man where you are, be KH ain't it...
